    What should I prepare before our first conversation?

    No preparation needed for an initial consultation! We’ll have a general discussion about your needs. If you have a specific case in mind, having the basic facts fresh in your memory is helpful, but I don’t need documents for our first call.

    Is the initial consultation really free?

    Yes, completely free with no obligation. I want to make sure my services are the right fit for your needs before either of us invests time and money into an engagement.

    How quickly can you start on a case audit?

    Once we have an engagement agreement and I receive your case files, most audits begin within 2-3 business days. Standard turnaround is 5-7 business days, with expedited 3-day service available.

    Do I need to send case files before our first call?

    No. In fact, please don’t send confidential case files until we have a signed confidentiality agreement in place. We’ll discuss your needs first, then I’ll provide secure file transfer instructions if we move forward.

    What if I'm not sure which service I need?

    That’s exactly what the free consultation is for! I’ll ask questions about your situation and recommend the most cost-effective approach based on your specific needs.

    Can we meet in person?

    Yes! I’m available for in-person meetings in the San Diego area and throughout California for training engagements. Most initial consultations and case audits work perfectly via phone/video, but I’m happy to meet face-to-face when it makes sense.

    What if I need help outside your normal business hours?

    Email me anytime. While I primarily work Monday-Friday 9-5 PST, I check email regularly and can often respond to urgent matters in the evenings or weekends. For truly time-sensitive situations, note “URGENT” in your email subject line.

    Do you work with attorneys outside California?

    My expertise is most directly applicable to California cases, but Colossus and many carrier evaluation methods are used nationwide. Contact me to discuss whether I can help with cases in other jurisdictions.

    Will my information be kept confidential?

    Absolutely. All communications are confidential, and I sign NDAs as standard practice. Case information is transmitted via HIPAA-compliant encrypted systems and stored securely.
